We currently have an opening for a full time Principal Research Scientist. Qualified candidates for the Principal Research Scientist position will be able to work independently and lead a research team. May have the opportunity to be the lead on or coauthor scientific publications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong experience leading multi-site clinical trials
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of developments in biostatistics and clinical trials methodology and regulatory requirements that impact on statistical analyses
  • Solid understanding of pragmatic and adaptive designs and cluster-unit trials
  • Perform analysis and consult on study protocol's as well as prepare analysis plans
  •  Evidence of strong management skills, as shown through management of multiple projects and proven track record and ability to manage, mentor, and motivate staff
  • Oversee the conduct, analysis, preparation of integrated clinical & statistical reports
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to clearly describe advanced statistical techniques and interpret results
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work well with others 

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field with at least 10 years of experience working on clinical trials
  • Strong working knowledge of SAS
  • Familiarity with complex statistical methods that apply to Phase I-IV clinical trials
  • Ideally looking for someone who has been a Pi Principal Investigator on a project.
  • Proven track-record securing commercial or governmental funding is preferred
